I seem to remember the front bolts were M12 but the rears could be M 8 yeah.
The later GTA ones were longer so, if you can, why not prolong the rear ends like I did for a more stable mount. Easy job with the welder/grinder and 2 extra holes. So four M 8's each then.

Per - another question for you if you don't mind. Where did you mount them in the front subframe? Obviously I can just put them somewhere they fit but wondered if there was a point you thought better - I've only had a quick look without the car high enough to see properly how they will fit. If you have a picture of where you have them mounted that would be great as I can't quite see it in the pics you posted.

Hi Andy, sorry no! smile
There are no fitting holes/marks in the Fiat subframe.

However if you start by aligning them at the rear you can visualize a good spot at the subframe. Then make marks and drill. The good thing is the rest of the holes are big enough to put nuts through. I remember I drilled holes a bit larger than necessary, then welded/grinded the nuts to make them "captive"..

ZERO holes?

But did you make holes also in the interior, under the carpet?
Mine subframe will arrive next week! original Alfa, but without lightening holes tongue

No you just drill new ones, simples. Not through the carpet! smile
You'll get it once you're under the car and have the beams, its pretty logical.

Thanks Per - thought you might say that. Pretty sure I can work it out though. I'm thinking of nutserts in the subframe too as welding from below is something I struggle with.

My main issue is realising that at some time my car has obviously been lifted using the chassis rails so they are squashed up a bit slightly in front of where I need to mount the plates - I may need to put the bolts in and try to straighten them slightly but will see.

Yeah, even I used the trusty slidehammer a bit first to get them straight.
