I have bilstein and eibachs. The front end loves to scrape on anything and everything, the ride is as firm as fccuk.

Looks nice though!

I need 2 rear spring but have been offered front and rear eibachs but are 40 mm drop
I think it's a bit low, it will look good but I can't be arsed with all the speed bumps

It'll trash standard shocks.
There's a BIG compromise between standard set up and what is a track set up.
I can promise you that on eibachs the ride is more than harsh and can really hurt with big bumps. I've done speed bumps at less than walking pace and scraped the front.

I'm pretty sure the eibachs are only 30mm, i could be wrong! I think its only Apex springs that go that low. I'm running bilstien shocks with eibach springs and the ride is not too bad, not many problems with bottoming out but the pot holes do feel a little harsh.

I've got Bilstein shocks with Eibach spings on mine and I don't think I would want to go any lower, the exhaust catches on some speed humps and potholes aren't much fun. There is one particular bump on a road near me which I barely feel in other cars but if taken at speed in the Coupe if feels like I've run over a brick - I go quite slowly there now!

25mm to 30mm drop from eibachs , Bilstein shocks with Eibach spings and on 18" wheels and the ride isn't that bad so must be down to how old the shocks and springs are .

Don't even think about 40 mm unless you don't want to drive the car

Mine has a 40mm drop all around and on standard shocks and has been like that for about 8 years.

Perfectly driveable, just a bit harsh when driving over ruts in the road and if you hit a new pot hole you hadn't realise appeared, you'll certainly remember where it is next time laugh

Ditto wink
I too have the Eibach and Bilstein set up and I am about 30-35mm down on standard, no real issues other than exhaust and steep driveway entry/exit. All other humps are negotiable.
Although, I will be returning to standard suspension this year, it is too crashy for me now, I must be getting old! frown

mine is full standard and it hurts like hell if you hit a pothole. mind you that Belgium roads are a cloud9 joke, there is no road anymore, you're driving on patchwork after patchwork, layers upon layer of tarmac and concrete.

I have Eibachs on OE Springs and get no issues with bottoming out at all..... The ride is definately firmer however so you need to be sure your factory shocks are healthy. Having said there is compliancy and the ride is actually better when you have a load (full fuel tank etc.) so the springs are more compressed...

The roads in Kiev have potholes the size of which I have never seen anywhere else - I hate to think what they might be like away from the city!
