Hi all,

Last week, the 8 year old GT28RSR turbo in my 20VT coupe gave up the ghost.

Loads of smoke and lots of entertainment for my fellow M25 travellers.

I'm not really up to speed on the finer points of forced induction performance engineering, so I thought I'd keep it simple and go for a straight forward like-for-like replacement, however the nice gents who look after my car tell me that the GT28RSR is no longer available.

Questions:

1) Does anyone have a top tip on where I might still be able to lay my hands on one?

2) Failing this, what should I be looking at for the closest match for power characteristics.

I have forged pistons/rods, FMIC and an Apexi AVC-R, uprated fuel pump, but standard injectors.

Ideally I'd like a turbo that would work without changing this setup.

Bus man go for gt2871r and put in a set of 440 injectors and get flea to map it .
