Hi all. I'm after some trim repair - gear knob and handbrake handle. Obviously I'll need to take off the gear knob and send it away to Trim Deluxe, however, what about the handbrake handle? How do they deal with this? Does it need sending away too? Does it even come off? Has anyone had one done? I've called them, but no answer as yet. Thanks.

Hey Mark,

I'm booked in with Joe at trimdeluxe on 1st July to have some bits on my plus retrimed. He is very busy atm so try and get yourself booked in as soon as possible as there is already is a 4 month waiting period.

You could always mention me if you want as he could do your bits with mine to keep costs down.

Joe also mentioned that he is going to get tooling made up for the gearknob so he can emboss the numbers in instead of stiching them in like he has done before. So will look original smile.

He did a fantastic job on my steering wheel, recommended thumb

At the time I offered to give him a recommendation on here, but he declined as he already had too much work. This is a good sign...

Thanks guys. I haven't had a reply so I guess he's too busy to call me back.

Thanks.
