I'm due to fly to Rennes from Southampton on Friday with FlyBe. Is there any way (other than contacting the airline, which has proven very inconclusive) to assess the likelihood of knock-on disruption to my flight?

I know the strike is on Wednesday and Thursday, so there should be less of a problem, but I'm concerned that planes may end up in the wrong place, etc.

Anyone have any ideas or will it be suck it and see?

Dunno, but I'm flying to Spain on Monday and expect to get messed around, too...

How did it work out, Jim? I was on leave which is a shame because my airspace is quiet when the French are out!

It all went beautifully, thanks. Apparently there were some residual delays on internal flights in France, but all good for me. Flights arrived early both ways; stunning views with brilliant clear skies. I always love identifying where we're flying over and the FlyBe Dash flies lower than the Ryanair 737, so there's more to see!
