I'm currently in the process of building a forged block and have a couple of questions
What's max safe boost on 20vt block ?
Which headgasket ?
Can't seem to find arp head studs?
Is there a alternative ?

Hi mate the 20v t block is very stronge and will handle 2.1 bar of boost all day long and more the original head gasket and head bolts are fine to use

Just watch out if your boring the block out the thinner the cylinder walls the more likely to cracking which we have seen on the more boost happier coupes outside of the UK.

The only time you should worry that is if you are doing the 2.4 stroker pistons 82.5mm for 2346cc not 83.00mm for 2446cc,because it greatly expanded the block lose strength in the walls of water...
So at .5 you are fine nothing to worrie about .
