I need to buy an uprated fuel pump and am considering DW200 or 040 over Walbro GSS340. Reason beaing, they both suppose to be much quiter and give the same performance for similar price.

Do you know which one I should go for to be able to install it in the tank without a hassle?

The older Bosch types are invariably noisy. I use the Deatschwerks a lot, only the lack of supplies causes me problems. You may want to think about the DW300 for extra capacity, although the DW200 will work just fine.

What about fitting the DW pumps? Is it any more difficult than fitting the GSS340 Walbro pump?

It requires the same modifications to the swirl pot to fit.

Cheers Leighton. I will give the DW200 a try.

I have the DW200. It is very quiet and sufficient if you don't want mega power. Moreover it is compatible with E85 wink
