I've started to use Showroom Shine to clean the coupe. It saves hauling buckets of water through the house and upsetting her indoors when a bit splashes on the carpet. According to the directions, you spray it on, give the paintwork a good rub with a clean micro cloth thingy, then buff up. The question is, does this stuff contain chemicals that will strip off a miniscule layer of top coat?

Hmmmm - in a bored moment I sat and watched the hard sell for some Williams F1 Waterless stuff during a random channel hop. I just could not trust it to not damage the paint somehow. The demonstration vehicles always has very wet 'splatter' rather than any dried on cack!

I've used it in the past on a company that was only slightly dirty. It does come up well but you must keep turning the cloth. If I had my coop re sprayed would I use it.......no chance.

Waterless car wash was designed in the U.S. Which is hot and dry and therefore cars just get dusty. No good using it here cold and damp climate and therefore road dirt is a lot heavier. Buy a 25litre water carrier with a lid and use that to carry water to the car. Less swirls and a clean car. Then wax it!

http://www.nomad-direct.co.uk/index.phpI use one of these living in an apartment building with no access to a water hose. There's enough water in one tank to pre rinse the car and do the final rinse after the shampoo. Best car wash tool I've bought, I even tried to import them here, I'm sure you'd make money selling these to apartment living car nuts. Both car have been treated with Gtechniq sealant which is bloody amazing stuff, the water just sheets off the car.
