It's on again this weekend, being hosted by my Club, the Fiat Car Club of Queensland. http://fiatnationals.com/I've only entered my Coupe in the Sunday's Show and Shine, and given the category (based on build years) there shouldn't be many in this group, as Fiats were not sold in Australia from 1989 until about 10 years ago with the release of the Grande Punto. I expect to see Wazza from Sydney and other Coupe owners from "across the ditch", New Zealand. From my recent contact with Scuderia, he will not be travelling up from Melbourne. The organisers are hoping for a large number of 500s (from the 500A to the current model) to attend. Also hope to see some rare models of Fiats in attendance. The social activities should also be great fun; I'm organising the BBQ on Saturday night. Will probably need a few beers to help in the cooking process!

Hi Possum. Did your 'uncle' and his son made it safely? I hope the X1/9 Prototipo makes up for the Coupé

Have fun Graeme, and please share some photos. I'm a bit surprised that the event is on this weekend as it seems to clash with auto italia in Canberra unless I'm mistaken?

Alesi, Wazza and Glen arrived OK but the Prototipo appears to have run a bearing early in the Sprints, so put back on the trailer. Glen won the Motorkhana, overall, in their "Special". Boosted7, yes it was AutoItalia, but we had to take this date also due to the availability of the facilities. I did receive a trophy in my Class (1991-2000) in the Show 'n' Shine. Queensland was successful in winning the Fiat of Italy Cup, for the motorkhana competition. Will post some more links to photos when they are posted. https://www.facebook.com/mayorpaulp...598/1316210445059697/?type=3&theaterIn one of these one can see my grandson's electric yellow 500 in front of his parents' black 500. You can also see the oldest Fiat present, a 1924 501S (with my open bonnet beside it). Boosted7, this was driven from Booval (Ipswich) to Willowbank in the convoy with many other competitors and sits nicely around 50mph.
