I'm still a bit rusty after a 2 year break but I got a couple of class wins this weekend at Knockhill. My driving' is not as flowing as it was when I was last there (possibly 4 years ago) but it's beginning to come. Anyhow, pushed the 911 in race 1 (video) and beat him in race 2 (GoPro P.O.S. camera refused to play) by catching him early in the race into the hairpin. http://youtu.be/xWEhn7ZlVP8The black Europa (which appears twice for some reason - he must have gone off) was disqualified for having a stroked engine. Seems to be more cheating this year (and tougher scrutineering) as a "Lotus 7" (aye right) turned out to be a more modern Caterham complete with electronic gizmos. WTF?

Odd, if there is no prize money involved (and I assume there isn't) then it must be ego driven cheating. Or is it just a case of folk wanting to get in a race with what they have?
Questions...
Is a HANS mandatory? Is that a Marcos in front of you What series are you racing in?

Not surprised the Lotus got tagged for the engine after how it went past the pair of you. Good racing.

but it would be nice to be able to watch you race Fishy Dave at Castle Coombe You could come to watch us at Castle Combe too Yes - the journey to Inverness is bizarrely tougher (it couldn't be a lot easier from Schiphol). That said, it's cheaper, as is the accommodation - and the job offer is very attractive. It's going to take a lot of thinking this weekend.

How very exciting! Amsterdam vs Malmesbury. Probably take you twice as long to get to Inverness from the latter, but it would be nice to be able to watch you race Fishy Dave at Castle Coombe I sold the race car (Elise) a couple of weeks back, but might get the odd race in other peoples cars. Hoping to get a test in a TVR Tuscan racer next month....
