I've got a small collection of motorbikes that keep me busy, servicing/repairing/restoring/etc, and when time allows, riding. They've been borrowed by the motorcycle press for road tests and articles, including Practical Sportsbikes and Motorcycle News. Here's a pic that was taken by a press photographer a few years ago. See how many you can name....

YAMAHA TZR 250 ,SUZUKI RGV250 ,KAWASAKI KR1S , YAMAHA RD500? ,SUZUKI RG250 MK 1 the rest i cant make out because the pictures not clear enough . Nice collection must be about 50k worth of bike . I have a 4lo and a 31k i am restoring both at the present time . I grew up with strokers in the early 1980s .

I'm not sure of the total value to be honest, I don't see them as investments, although I guess they are to a degree. They're all the bikes that I wanted in my younger years, but couldn't afford at the time.

I don't have enough garage space either, and now I've got the coupe, I'm extending my garage by 50% to fit it all in....

I nearly bough a TZR 250 reverse cylinder back in 2002 but the carbs can be trouble and that put me off. It was only £1200 must be near 3k now . Bought a D reg Suzuki RG500 for £1500 back in 2006 and rode it around for 6 months and sold it for £2500 . You wont even buy an engine for that money now
