Just thought I'd reintroduce myself again as I've been away for a good few years! Basically bought a black LE back in 2005 but took it off the road in 2010 when it started smoking and have since been bombing about in a 205 GTI that I put an MI16 engine in. Fast forward 4 years and I've got a mortgage, I'm a dad and thought I'd better do something with the Fiat. Low and behold it started on the button (excuse the pun)! but still smoked, I've tried a few things but I'll leave that for the technical section.
Unfortunately it's not 'actually' on the road, it's not taxed, MOT'd or insured and if the smoking turns out to be down to something serious I might have to break or sell it.
The 205 is great fun, if a little bit too stiff for the road, it's running thicker torsion and anti roll bars plus 309 wishbones/driveshafts and 306 trailing arms.
