I have just got my car back from FC Performance the other day. The car was 18 years old to the day when I handed it over to Leighton. It is actually my wife's car that she has had from new. The car was pretty much standard before apart from a remap a few years ago and a stainless cat back exhaust.
Leighton did the following work:
FC Power-Ultra+ hybrid turbo FC FMIC FC 3" full exhaust system with 200cpi sports catalyst Uprated fuel pressure regulator NGK 7 spark plugs Uprated boost solenoid FC 3D boost control system Stack boost gauge FC Stage 3 mapping + dyno
The result is 316 bhp on the dyno and 278 lb/ft torque. The object was for the most power with the standard engine and clutch, but keeping the car perfectly drivable as the car is used everyday. Leighton could have gone for more power / torque, but with possible clutch issues down line. So we kept it sensible.
The drive from before to now has not been compromised at all. The power is smooth and consistent all the way through the rev range. Very nice usable car and I am very happy with the end result. The 3D boost controller seems to be critical in controlling the power, drivability and smoothness.
When I picked the car up I drove 11 hours back to central France. The car ran perfectly and is definitely a lot of fun. Next weekend I will be driving another 11 ish hours to Southern Spain. looking forward to that already.
Re-spray this winter if funds allow.
Here's to another 18 years of enjoyable motoring.

Hi Joe,
Nice to hear from you again.
It is probably similar to your car and my blue one now too. Karen is over the moon. We have enjoyed the summer here in France, but it has been manic this year getting work done on the house.
If you fancy a trip to Spain you are always welcome to stay for a while. Its a bit of a drive, but nice weather for winter.
I hope that you have taken advantage of the great summer to get yours on the track a bit.

Gunzi,
The car was almost standard. I had a cat back Scorpion exhaust as the original one fell off and Leighton had mapped it before, but with no mods.
The car is louder than before having a 3 inch exhaust now, but it drives the same as before when just pottering about. Obviously when you put your foot down it takes off much better than before. I am really impressed by the drivability. I thought that it might become hard work, but no real difference in traffic etc.
Joe,
Sorry that me and Karen didn't get time to come up from Bristol and call in for a cuppa. I am sure that you were probably busy as usual anyway. Hope to catch up with you at some point again though.

Finally made some time to say a little more about Frazer's Coupe. First up, thanks for coming over! It really is nice to see a Coupe that as been with the owner's for so long, true Coupe fans and it will only get better with age. The warmer climes and Frazer have treated this Coupe well! The set-up is very nice, all designed to produce a Coupe that is not so different from standard except with much greater performance. The 3" exhaust gives good performance, but there is no overbearing noise or drone, and a sports catalyst still keeps everything legal. The intercooler is discreet, no cutting of the bumper and everything nicely in place, even with an undertray. The turbo is a real gem, maximum response, but pulls hard with little boost to achieve the power, very efficient. Coupled with the 3D boost control system, everything is very refined, but when the mood takes keep the foot planted for maximum power. Good to see you both again, and hope you enjoy your 2015 Coupe variant

Hi Leighton
Karen is very happy with the setup and is enjoying driving it. It really is great fun.
Hopefully we will get a re spray in the new year.
