Really looking forward to this. Just meeting up with everyone and seeing the coops is going to be great, I am happy to go along with the route suggestions as we have the chance to drive these roads more often than some. The Glenfinnian house hotel looks really good too.

Hey Dianne-

You'll have to make a giant Tupperware full of that ACE tiffin from the business to bring down (not to be shared, you understand) and I'll see you with with cash...

THAT, I am looking forward too!

Ha ha, I'm sure I can bring some supplies along. Glad you like it so much.
Mind you, if you are eating all the tiffin, I'd better bring ginger and apple cake for everyone else?

How exciting...!

I'm thinking of a spin-off thread called: 'things I need to do to my car before I feel it's ready for the North of Scotland meet'!

Separately- we should maybe coin a title for this mini tour- bearing in my mind, if it's a success we could attempt a repeat in the future, and if the route was slightly different then the name would have to still work....

The tiffin tour!

I love it!!

Any graphic designers amongst us? I need the broad profile of a front wing, blended in with the West Coast...

Oh, sorry about it sounding English ??? . I know the origins of the song are from the Jacobite rebellion, but I wasn't there. Not guilty.

Mrs Ed is unlikely (at this juncture) to pootle up for the Saturday night - instead she'll probably go visiting recently-returned family and grandson from U.S. in Leeds. Fair enough smile

So how about if we take one night's accommodation each and book/reserve it?

Happy to take night 1 in Poolewe....

for everyone?
