I told him not to bother with the diesel and a 1.8t came up as a cat d . I think he paid around 5k for a 2006 model and hes happy and its a really nice car . flyingcustard OP My life on the forum Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 1,887 Cumbria	Thanks. Not looking for a 2.4 sorry. If I went for a v6 it would have to be the 3.0 Quattro.think the 1.8 is a good bet. The 2.0 tfsi just creeps into my price bracket but there is more choice of 1.8. Loads for sale but no good ones near me. Looking at 2 this weekend. Seen four now but not great. Plus/LE33
