Crap film, but Eleanor would be near the very top of my shopping list. Top would be the Charger from Bullitt, or the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. What would be yours?

Time for a random opinion post...

Apart from your excellent first choice from Bullit! Mine would probably be Jim Rockford's Firebird from the series The Rockford Files. Just a cool looking, not too flash, or contrived set of wheels that would not draw too much attention. Fantasy one would be The Batmobile from the 1960's TV series or The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo cartoon

Did like Magnum PI's 308 GTS.

My favourite car chase would have to be the 1971 movie, The Burglars, where a corrupt policeman, Omar Sharif, chases the burglar through the streets of Athens. Of course, the burglar is driving a Fiat.

Off Topic warning!

Nice car, but having loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off from when I first saw it in 1986, I realised a few years ago that I'm now on Ed Rooney's side.

Another vote for Bullit from me.

The original A Team '83 GMC Vandura, the '70 Chevelle SS from Jack Reacher, the Mitsubishi Starion from Cannonball Run 2, The Mitsubishi Colt concept from Armour of God, the Dude's Gran Torino from The Big Lebowski, the '49 Buick Roadmaster from Rain Man, Mad Max's '73 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupé, all great movie cars in my opinion.

My all time favourite is Cobretti's '50 Mercury though, been hunting for a good original one for nearly 20 years now.

If I can include 2 wheeled machines, the bikes from Priest were a couple of the most amazing custom jobs I've ever seen.

I second that....

Also Bond's DB5 and the Daytona from Miami Vice (never much liked the Testarossa)
