Watch Sepang on ITVPlayer if you can - stunning battle between Rossi and Marquez - with a rather unfortunate finish

What I don't get is that in Australia, everyone was co-operating to stop Jorge "no-mates" Lorenzo from winning and Rossi and Marquez were bezzer mates (not that bezzer...).
What happened in between to convince Rossi that Marquez was deliberately hampering him to favour Lorenzo and to get so obsessed about it that he took the action he did in Sepang? The most disappointing thing is that it spoiled one of the finest sequences of motor racing I've ever seen! Personally, I think Rossi did use his knee deliberately, but it can't be proven. Imagine if Marquez had been hurt or worse...?

Never been a fan of Rossi but you cant deny his talent and achievements but to resort to running Marquez wide and kicking his brake lever is wrong . It would also be wrong if rossi wins the world championship from this . He has to start at the back of the grid .

They are a pair of stunning talents and, for me at least, I was really disappointed that Rossi seemed to take that action - beneath him.

So who's going win the title guys? Lorenzo for me and Kent will scrape through and win the championship, not the way to win a title but he was great first half of the season

Hard to see Lorenzo NOT winning, but Rossi is the architect of his own downfall. If something happens that sees Lorenzo drop down the field, then it could be game on.

Agreed. Despite the commentators trying to talk up an exciting ending that just wasn't there!

No -Rossi was impressive getting to 4th but the battle up front wasn't much of one. I'm really disappointed in Rossi - the surprisingly partisan (given it was Spain) didn't seem to mind much

Yes, I was surprised that the Spanish crowd seemed more interested in Rossi doing well than the fact that of 9 Spanish starters in the race, the top 3 were all home-grown.
Imagine the equivalent with British riders at Silverstone, would the Brits be cheering for the German?!
