Hi all.
Just looking for a bit of advice regarding finding somewhere safe and reasonably close to park near the above mentioned venue as I'll be heading there for a gig on a Sat eve soon and have no idea about what's available in the area. Looked at a few websites,however all the car parks they're throwing up are around £3 an hour! crazy
Any help greatly appreciated

I live close to Brixton and know it well.

I wouldn't try parking there it's impossible to find street parking, also not the best place to leave a car.

Best option would be park 1-2 miles away and either train or bus it in or even better a taxi.

Directions from Brixton;

Take the A204 towards Tulse Hill. At Tulse Hill (large wide junction where the A205 South Circular enters from the right) At the traffic lights turn right into Norwood Road, Pass the station on the left. Next set of lights just before the bridge turn right (Leighham Vale) 25m take the right fork (Palace Road). Park anywhere on that road or side roads. Walk back towards the station and catch the bus to Brixton.

From Brixton to Palace Road around 10 minutes.
