But is it better or worse than the corporate drones that many of the other drivers come across as (despite being "great guys" in private, we are assured)? I'm no fan of the look, but in terms of bringing in younger, more diverse fans to F1, Bernie loves him. Actually, that, in itself, should make it illegal.

I think the British in particular find this kind of brash, ostentatious showing off of wealth a bit difficult...

He's only doing a David Beckham. I actually think he does the sport and the U.K. quite a bit of good. I don't admire his style as I didn't much Beckham's but I'm (we're) hardly his target audience.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Lewis and I've enjoyed watching him progress since his Mclaren days but the gangster look is a little meh to me.
