Anyone else around and interested??

I've only gone and booked a trackday in the Coupe.

Not one for racing obviously - but really want to stretch the old boys legs and snett is probably the best place for it.

Could be a good benchmark also before I start doing the winter repairs/upgrades list.

Well well... had a great day in the Coupe at Snetterton - although the turbo seals are really complaining now frown

Time to get that fixed me thinks smile

It was great fun indeed and thank you the car does look really good smile

Brakes would fade after 5 hot laps - but better discs and pads going in over winter - P6000 tyres were brilliant whilst I was driving well.

Unfortunately though the car now smokes all the time from ignition until I am travelling over 30 in excess of 2000 revs frown

Sorry to learn the car has an issue - a race circuit is a hard testing ground!
Hopefully you'll get it sorted soon and cost effectively.
Which brakes and pads are you running?

I'm trying to decide which tyres to replace my Heros with?

I was running original's with unknown pads...
I have had the brembo's re-manufactured and I have replaced the discs with drilled and grooved MTEC ones and at the moment some new Mintex pads. That rear I am going to refurb myself and check the pads.

This is something I am looking at too - the Pirelli P6000's that are on the car did very well indeed. They heated up nicely and started to bead on the front as I pushed them harder and harder.

Not sure what to replace them with when I do so in the summer, what are you thinking at the moment?
