Dark side of the Moon
Hi think this is in the right place
I will shortly be doing a suspension refresh but am unsure on standard springs or eibach, really want to fit eibach as I already have them but don't want a life of hassle due to them
What is it like going on the eurotunnel or ferries with a eibach and b6's lowered car as I'm planning on a trip this year if I decide not to move house
Also as a side note what are they like on speed bumps?
Cheers

Bit more of a handling thread so moved.

But i do know more about these.
You should have no issue on the Eurotunnel or Ferries as i didnt with mine. Low at the front but slowly on to the ferry and no issue.

Handling was great on track, but quite crashy around normal roads.
Speed bumps near me were an issue also due to the height and side skirts on my coupe. Unfortunately i ended up removing the body kit.

I did a suspension refresh, Bilstein B6 dampers all round , Eibachs springs, Whittling 22mm Rear ARB, PU rear subframe bushes, replacement rear arm bearings, new top mounts and wishbones and drop links, handling was transformed from a slightly wallowy GT car to a nimble and lithe sports car that you could use throttle to adjust the line the car was taking.

I fitted one of Mariusz LE kits and PIU rear bumper and never had any issues with speed bumps (I just approached them slowly), or ferries.

Good luck you won't regret the refresh.
