Just came across this and wondered if anyone has tried this setup before?

This is how it should have come out of Torino!

Meh, that clutch is made by CG Motorsport. I used to be a fan of their clutches - until I had to take them to court after they tried to palm off a shoddily built clutch on me twice and charge me for the privilege.

Whether that clutch works well or not, I'd strongly recommend walking away from that one. CG Motorsport are one of those "slap it in a box - if it works, lucky you. if it fails, tough sh*t" type of companies.

It's hard to keep away from that company because they go under a whole bunch of different names and peddle their wares via a load of different 3rd parties.

well obviously some people have had some trouble with them but so far ive had 6 clutches off of them rangeing from A VIS, 20vt different stages, Z4 Coupe and now the RS4 and they have been good. the one your going on about Rob40 I had on the Z4 and it was so much better than the standard unit.

I've got that clutch plate. It's sound. Had it in about 8 months now and going well.

I have install couple of those clutch kits and problem was excessive wear of flywheel and clutch plate
it was on 1.9jtdm with ball bearing turbo and 290hp
and torque was limited on lower revs as clutch didn't hold

it was Solid Mass Flywheel Kit & Stage 3 Clutch Kit for Alfa

with different make and CRMO flywheel we have achieved 350hp and reached limit of the turbo
