The VIS seems to have a mini following all of it's own. Differences to other Coupes include parts of engine, fuel pump, intake system, wheels, ECU, MAF, body coloured sills to name but a few. It also represents the final production run of the NA Coupe's. So, it seems sensible to start a register like the other rare Coupes ! Here goes: Chassis (inside right hand side cubby boot plate):006346, Type: 20v VIS Registered: 17 04 2000 Colour: Rosso red (wine ?) Mileage: 87,000 Owner: Gripped Can a mod make this sticky please ?

Here's my details:
Type: 20V VIS Chassis: 005829 Built: Dec 1998 Registered: 04 Feb 1999 Colour: Steel Grey Mileage: 123000 Owner: Wal_S Owned for 8 years, I'm the 3rd owner.
Not all VIS are as you've described Gripped, there are a very small number of pre facelift cars. I've only ever seen one other apart from mine, cosmetic spec is exactly as per the 147 NA (wheels, black sills etc) but guess there must be a few more out there.
Maybe mine is the rarest spec of all the coupes!!
If all else fails read the instructions

Mine is pre facelift too. Exactly the same spec as yours. Was the other one you saw a broomie? If not then there's at least 3 of them.

Hello! I exist. However, I am away at the moment. I have a W plate which I picked up in '14 with 65k on it. I'm in 168A speed red now with a tan leather interior. I've got AC and no sunroof (MY spec!) You'll have to wait till next week for better details. Hey Briggus- I am massively jealous: was Moon Grey an original colour for the VIS? Can you post a picture of that?

Are you sure that's a 1 at the end of the chassis number, it does not show up as valid on ePer, could it be 7 perhaps, that is a VIS, manufactured March 1999 however
