Just done the usual trawl, looks like a Plus on Gumtree in Norfolk.
Down as £650 but needing mot etc. Stored for 5 years. Mileage checks out but did Hpi and was written off at some point. Could have been repaired correctly though.

Maybe worth this to someone.

Ps. Nothing to do with me. I would have bought it unseen for that price except for write off bit in past. Wheels,and seats probably worth the cost. I live in Scotland so cost even more for transport etc.

Sorry Patch234, I just did a cheap, cheap check and it just said written off in the past.
Didn't give a category or date and just gone to check the attachment sent back and that is empty. It was Instant car check.
I would suggest further investigation if interested.

I'm going to look at it as we speak it was written off in 2003 it's passed 9 mots since then on dvla you think at the 650 it's still a good price ?

If it was a Cat C in 2003 when it was only 3 years old it would have been quite a serious impact otherwise it would have been a Cat D

Picked the car up and traylering it home as we speak very tidy needs a couple of bits was sold from solo italia in 2008

Ok just a couple of photos from last night of this moonie plus we picked up yesterday from Norfolk.

Got a phone call from Leigh, "dad" i've bought another Coupe can we go and get it for me, (leigh has no trailer licence) Five hour round trip back to Leicester,don't you just love your kids!!

Had a quick look around it when we got there in the fading light and from what i could see it was a bargain for the money, 78,000 gen miles, sorn past 5 years been in dry store, i'll have a bit more of a poke around today and get some more photos.

As a newbie I'm a little confused. Is it a case of people undervaluing the cars? I was watching a cat c plus on eBay, it had low miles on it and was in decent condition and that went for £2400! Who is right?

If you have money to spend, and you don't mind spending it to make your car mint. It was definitely a real bargain. Even if you spend £3000 or £4000 on her, it's money well spent. Especially if you love the cars and of course coupes are getting rare...

Totally off track .....

I was reading today about someone with a Megane 225 who was well chuffed about getting a cam belt and water pump done for £400.00 ..... Yet people always make out that getting the coupe done is expensive? It's around the same price!! Stupids! Fact of the day, stay tuned for more

Be done oil change check compression etc to start then move on from there only just got her of the trailer about 3 hours ago had to go out all day cannot wait to get another day off to have a good look over her
