Just wanted to post some info on an upcoming Ricardo webinar. nerd I believe its free, normally they are excellent and free.

For anyone with a spare hour in early may, they'll talk a bit about modelling dyno results and FI engines within their software (1D model) but also work examples of the benefits of Water Injection for Forced induction machines.

You can register here and they'll send you a link

https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2305136396033195523

WI for a coupe is pretty relevant, but obviously they won't talk about the coupe.

Hope its of interest to someone. I am considering water meth injection on my wifes alfa and maybe the coupe, hence my interest......

I've got Aquamist on my Coupe, a bit of overkill perhaps but a bit of extra cooling on a higher power modified Coupe has always seemed a good idea to me.

Exactly Dave, and according to the modeling, you are also saving the environment from some C0x and NOx. Winner

My 155 Q4 has the original water bag in the boot, twin electric pumps, and a dirty great nozzle in front of the intercooler, with a boost operated switch.

Its not water injection, and a bit crude, but it actually works!! Sustain boost gives the IC a big blast of cool water, and boost levels are sustained.

Not many Q4s around with that kit still on them nowadays!!

Had a quick look at the first ten minutes of the first link. Looks very interesting.
Will definitely give them a watch.
Thanks for the links.

Good stuff and his business motivation holds very true. I've certainly come across more bad mappers than good mappers.

i would post it to you tube but don't want to be mistaken to plagiarize the authors or ricardo.
