Well, were in season 2 of this and I have to say i'm close to giving up. I know BB was a slow burner but they seem to have set the scene up for the show well with in the first season.

I have given the first season the benefit of the doubt but nothing seems to be happing and its possessively dull, They have left no reason at all for me to look forward to the next one.

If it wasn't a tie in show I would have given up after the first 3 episodes.

any one else have anything positive to say about it?

I know what *every one* of the words you used above means, Sam, but I have no idea what you're talking about! Is this some television epic perhaps, available only to those who don't eschew the pay-tv channels?

Indeed a netflix "original" Some of there stuff has been great and its good to see them pushing independent stuff out. Some of it is a little hit and miss though.
better call saul is a prelude to breaking bad with the focus on a side character that played a reasonable part of the plot.

I was hoping to see how he got to where he ended up. I suppose its unfair to compare the two programs but by there nature of tie in they will be. BCS just seems to be a empty husk.

I watch this, and whilst it's no breaking bad nor 24 (when that first came out). It's watchable for me. Better than most of the chaff that's available these days.

So, whilst it's not the same as the first series with regard to enjoyable viewing, it's hotting up a little and well worth a sit down when there is nothing else to do. Kills an hour for me here in Az, so it's a welcome break in the evening smile

I watched season one and while it was OK wasn't massively impressed so haven't started watching the new series.

Pity really as Breaking Bad has been one my favourite TV highlights of recent years.

Up yours Photobucket.

I agree with all of the comments above entirely (apart from Joe's Neil's, who by the sounds of it still has one of those TV sets where you put 50p in the slot laugh )
Loved BB, eagerly awaited the prequel and have been let down. I still look forward to Tuesdays though and despite the slower pace I will watch it to the end.
I'm wondering how many series they think they can stretch it to, because at the current pace it looks like they want at least 4 or 5.

The problem is, that compared to the best series ever made for TV anything would have fallen short unfortunately.

I am considering watching BB again, but this time I have to get the wife to like it. She watched until she saw the "bath scene" from episode 2 and decided it was too horrific last time chinny

I gave up during the first series of Better Call Saul. It was just going nowhere.

Breaking Bad was properly excellent and I was surprised at how it got better over five seasons.

If you've not watched it already (and you don't mind slow burning stuff you have to concentrate on) House of Cards is fantastic.
