bockers OP Hon Club Member 007 Forum Fossil Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 21,071 Chertsey in the Thames	I have finally surcumbed to getting an iPhone. I have been a Windows phone user (and a Jolla test pilot) for years but finally the lack of apps and the quality of those that are there, has meant I have finally accepted defeat. So I now have an iPhone 6. I have Apple Pay up and running and the obvious Social apps. However What am I missing? The app store is almost too big to browse, which was never a problem on Windows. I am after a good picture editing app, a decent racing game (not the ludicrous crap that ha the car in the air more than on the track) and anything that would help around the house and garden. I await your recommendations. Many thanks

I also really like Coloursplash which gives you the ability to make parts of a photo black and white. You can create some really striking images with it (black and white image but one 'splash' of colour such as bright red lipstick or a particularly vibrant car, for example). Others I use regularly Google Maps (doubles as a very good sat nav) YouTube xkcd (web comic) TED Netflix Cliff Diving (simple but addictive stickman game) 8 Ball Pool Strava (running/cycling tracker) Click here to donate to Ickle Pickles

Wombat Unregistered W	I dont get whats wrong with the 'darkside' I have had iphones since the iPhone 3, Totally reliable and never let me down. I know the android OS well and used to run a small app development course for it. It seems so clunky and lacking in flow compared to ios. App wise: - WAZE for satnav - Whatsapp for texting - BBC apps for sport/news/weather/radio - ToView for live TV - RAC traffic + - MapmyTracks for walking/cycling
