The Helix organic will take 450Nm, although it isn't officially rated that high

I have about 375lb-ft (508Nm) and I have had three or four Helix organic clutches (not paddle type, as I want to be able to drive in traffic)

Roughly, what is the price of one of these? And is there anything else that performs as admirably?

Simpler and cheaper to have the OE flywheel machined

I bought a TTV light weight steel flywheel due to my standard one having stress cracks around the bolt holes. I didnt want to run the risk of another one being lightened then shattering taking out the expensive gearbox at the same as killing the nice helix clutch smile

I know a few people running lightened standard flywheels but i didnt want to risk it

Does someone have the part numbers for the helix clutch kit (organic plate and cover)?

I am currently speaking to Mardi Gras and am running into some difficulties as the guy there (Dom) is kind of reluctant to search for comparable offers he formerly gave to fccuk members..

I have a GT28RS fitted, so about the same specs as Nismo..

Thank you very much in advance,
Jochen

Hi Jochen.
I got mine from Mardi Gras and spoke to Mandy Jackson.

Pressure plate number. 60-4448. £421.52 plus vat.

Organic friction plate. 70-4451. £155.01 plus vat

10% discount for fccuk members is taken into account in those prices.

Bought about 2 years ago.

I've just had a helix organic clutch fitted to my 20vt, but the clutch feels horrible. There is only about 1cm of 'feel' (the 1St centimetre of pedal movement, the rest of the way down is just a dead zone) also there is terrible judder when pulling away. Is this normal? Or does the clutch just need bedding in?
Can the biting point be adjusted?

Needs bedding in and no adjustment can be made to the bitting point . Mine bites about 2 inches at the top of the peddle but im used to it now .

Was the flywheel refaced?

If so do you know how much material was removed as it'll make a difference on the peddle.
