I see them. All turbo's. Silver, red and blue.

All three have been on Facebook for sale in the last week or so.

Silver one is the latest to go on ebay and looks very tidy like the other 2 he is selling.
Wonder if he has a stash of them in a lock-up somewhere?

The guys a trader and got some 'on the face of it' nice original coupes. Good on him, hope someone finds a nice home for them. At least he understands the type to buy and sell I wish I'd bought them! Never once saw them advertised before!

yeah all 3 are some of the cleanest, nicest looking ones I've seen on ebay for a while.

Clearly there will be a nice markup on those so it makes you wonder what his source is and what price he is getting them for.

I am going to view these this morning as I sold my coupe about 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since.

Don't blame you mate, unless there is something we don't know from looking at the listings I imagine you will find it very hard to come away without purchasing one of them.

I'm afraid I didn't buy. They were ok but not special, perhaps I was expecting too much.

Since it was only an hour from Brooklands, rather than the 3.5 hours from home, I went to look at the red one.

It was not as good as I was expecting from the description and photos. If you want more detail, just PM me. Perhaps I was expecting too much too...

Silver one looked in better condition, but didn't have a proper look. Didn't look at the sprinty either.

Probably for the best. After getting my fingers burnt previously from ignoring my 'gut feeling' on a car (it was an Audi and I seriously regretted it afterwards) it sounds like you did the right thing. I vowed never to make the same mistake again.

After reading your comment jonno5cyl, I checked the forum rules and found although we have never allowed advertising except in the "Market Place", the rules did not expressly state that fact. It was simply the norm on here.

In order to help newcomers to the forum such as yourself, I have now clarified the rules to reflect our normal practice..

As Edinburgh mentioned, at one time our members were targeted by scammers taking advantage of them by not supplying goods that members had paid for.

Obviously that had to be stopped. Since we tightened up the selling rules the problem has become almost non-existent.
