I've decided what I want to buy, now I just need to find one!

I've obviously looked on Autotrader and eBay, but are there other places to look?

I've tried Gumtree, but it always seems like Dodgy Mcdodgeface and the other used car sites all seem to use the same search database, which doesn't have any cars I'm after.

The spec I'm after is:

Fiat Ulysse (Mk2) 2.2 diesel (2.0 considered) Manual.
Prestigio trim with leather and the built-in satnav/7" screen.
Would consider the Eleganza with leather.

I'll look at any mileage under 160k, but preferably under 130k, as long as the timing belt/water pump have been changed.

Must be under £2k.

I've also looked at (and will consider) the Citroen C8 or Peugeot 807 in equivalent trim.

I think I must have seen them all, but if anyone knows anywhere else I can look, please let me know...

I assume you've tried the Motors website?

Thanks Hyperlink, thanks bezzer. Tried both - good shouts, but nothing suitable!

This is the current favourite:

Citroen C8 Exclusive

Not a Fiat, but cam belt changed at 100k, all electrics working (and the flowers on the back have been removed...)

Got the vehicle check/MOT history for it and it looks ok.

Go for it Jim. Great spec and by the looks of it, nice and clean.

Being French and having all electrics working must be a 1st!

Thanks ScouseCoupe - I've looked on most of those sites, but found one or two interesting ones. Most of the cars are on multiple sites, so found a few old friends, too!

Thanks TBirdX - diesel emphatically the only option! Thanks for the warning, though...

Are there any FCCUK-ers from the Loughborough who could have a quick look at that C8?

It's a 2-hour+ drive from me, which I'm happy to do but it would be a great help if someone could give it a once over to make sure it hasn't got anything glaringly obvious wrong and save me the journey...

Jim, have you looked at the fiat forum sites? A wanted post may turn up something.

That's not a bad plan, Cooperman. I looked at the Ulysse section on a couple of Fiat sites, but not a lot going on there. However, a wanted ad might get something...
