last August i purchased a spare engine for my VIS with 52k.
Out of curiosty I thought I amy need the engine number if i decided to resell the engine as the engine in the coupe is fine, and just wants to eat miles.

I can't find the engine number on the block ???

back again the number "182B7000" on the side of the block seems to be the "engine stamp" when i checked the eper.

I think the engine number should be unique ?

182B7000 is the type of engine, and the car it was destined for (i.e. originally fitted). This is the type, not the engine number, which should be underneath it.

You're looking for something spark eroded with a dot-matrix form, often somewhat feeble!
