Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the Forum. I've kept mine standard, but then, I'm an "old fart". Where in Norway are you located? I spent 6 weeks in your beautiful country in 2000 and that is where I saw my first Coupe, albeit a 1.8 16v, in the Oslo Fiat dealership. You will get lots of useful information and help on this Forum.

Hi Krish, Welcome to 16vt ownership. Look after it, they are getting rarer. Look at the '16vt knowledge' thread. Maybe contact FC performance. Post queries on the forum. All of the knowledge is here.

got some more questions, i was browsing the knowledge thread, there was mention an EVO chip, but i cant find a place to buy!
and i have asked fc performance but they are not answering:/ how is it to chip these? do i have to send my ECU in? since i live in norway these cars are rare.
i also is in need of a good boost controller and a new dump valve, but i cant find any sites that sells them..
thanks for answering and sorry for bad english:/

Your English is great, probably better than mine anyway. Evocars chip is not fantastic. I have one and a dink chip in my glove box, ran them both for a while. I may be wrong but i dont think evocars are still producing the chip and havent for some time. FC performance will remap your own ECU as will others. They can do it remotely, one UK tuner even flew to Norway to do someone's old lancia running a lampredi. FC performance are very busy at the moment. He tunes alot of other cars these days ford cosworth and the like. Try the FC performance Facebook page. I think that's where most people get hold of him. My 16vt is in there at the moment. The greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller is the way to go or similar. Some like the manual ones but for ultimate tweaking. The electronic boost control is the way to go, try e bay. You should be able to pick up a cheap 2nd hand unit and install yourself.they are common place in the Japanese tuning scene. Dump valve, if you want a steel one then bailey dv26 maybe???? (It's been a while since I bought and installed mine)
More importantly, check the condition of the turbo, install a boost gauge and make sure all is running well before delving too deep into the mods.

then i will look for the boost controller:) the car has not been running for 3 years, so it feels a little slow:/ a renault megane flew past me, and i couldnt drive past him.. lol xD
but tomorrow i will do a motorflush, check the dump valve, clean airfilters and such.
thanks for answering!:)

I would start with fuel pump upgrade + wiring mod, FMIC, combo camshafts( Coupe NA Intake Camshaft and Coupe 16VT Intake Camshaft installed as Exhaust Camshaft), 3" Exaust. You don't need to spend money for aftermarket boost controller if the pierburg is working fine. Your car ECU can be remaped with it and you can gain 250-260hp with those mods.

before start with tuning works ,be sure your car is fine first check the bearings in the bottom end of the engine this engine suffer of bearings and cambelt failure so second do a cambelt change, third the oil 10w 60
and after a proper chip tuning, exhaust and free flow filter and you will have real 250cv
