Not as good in real life as it looks in the pictures (by all accounts)

There has been a thread about it somewhere

Any car has to be viewed in the flesh, I wouldn't even consider buying a Coop without going to see the beastie in the flesh. Even if you're not an expert, there is a lot to take on board, good bad or indifferent when you see a car up close.

Just looked over the advert. Seems to be well looked after, but you really have to dig deeper, rust being a major culprit at this age, just for starters.

From the pictures alone, looks a clean one. If you are at all serious on making a move, it goes with out saying you have to see the car in the flesh. If everything checks out & you get up close & see that's it's rust free in the right places, that's not a bad price in my opinion. There is always room for negotiation after all.

I remember this seller now. He has a couple other Coops for sale. Similar spiel, implying it's been his vehicle for some time without actually saying so. It's obvious, to me anyway, the seller has dressed these cars to sell as business.

Spoke to the chap last night, seems he is a weekend car trader! Said the car was owned by one lady since new, then passed onto her niece who sold it to this guy.

Noticed he has recently reduced all of his Coops as they have been for sale for a while !!

Thinking about getting a specialist to check the car over.
