Here is two 20VTs that might be useful for spares, located in Ayr, Scotland: Gumtree

I saw that ad a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not sure about it, don't know why.
Both cars have mot, but are untaxed/sorn.

I believe the Silver one was sale a few months back at around £1500, hence why the Blue one has been purchased. Suspect seller not so handy with the spanners with exchanging parts to make a good one out of the 2.

That's what I suspected may have happened. My only concern is whether any ill advised spannering took place before they admitted defeat and stuck them up for sale. I might go and have a look at them.

Yeah, every part coming with perfectly rounded off nuts. :-)

I suspect he / she after purchasing realised its a big job changing and engine / clutch if never done it before and / or the quoted cost from a reputable mechanic was scary, hence both up for sale.

If they have lived in Ayr or on the coast, rust / corrosion will be more accelerated other than being inland / garage.
