Discuss his Coupe here rather than commenting in the for sale thread smile

Last edited by Theresa; 13/06/2016 10:28. Reason: Amended title to make thread clearer!

You and me both Dave. I don't have the cash now, but if I did this would be back on my drive.

Thanks for making this a separate thread Theresa. As an ex-owner of this car I felt compelled to comment. I and I'm sure DLT both as ex-owners of this car, would gladly chip in with info regarding the history of the car which may assist a potential purchaser, if of course jasgol wishes it.

Thanks for the positive input pstruck and dlt, it's not easy selling vehicles when you live in Cornwall, I haven't had a single viewing yet, time to wheel out the old phrase I think. First to see will buy!

In case you haven't seen it, on your for sale advert, there is someone trying to contact you, and an outstanding question.

I want to buy(or at least look at) this but my girlfriend has raised objections until her GTV gets looked at. Jason very helpfully answered all my questions over the phone and I am sure the 1st person who sees it will buy it.....

Tom.

PS. I wrote a long post but it went AWOL in the internet.

Took it for a spin at the weekend, forgot what an awesome car it is, yes, I know, I'm bound to say that aren't I but I challenge anyone to disagree! Still not a single viewing yet.

Stop it Jasen! I have to pay for a new front door, a holiday and painting the outside of the house. Returning 'UKP' to my garage would result in none of the above being achieved and a probable divorce, but boy is it tempting!

Nah - I think he's going to rejoin Tory party now. UKIP doesn't really have a raison d'etre any more.

Apparently, Jasgol has an awesome car. Certainly looks awesome. If only someone had recently driven it, and rediscovered it's awesomness.

More importantly, what is your new motorbike? Details please !

My new bike? it's awesome! (but not as awesome as the coop.Obvs)
It's a Triumph Tiger 800 XRX, it's not as awesome as my old Street Triple but it will definitely be better for a two up tour of europe.

Nice bike. I like em.

I have a Kwak Versys 650... But I'm tempted by something different. Been looking at Yam Tracers. I like triple engines too.

I'd be interested in any review of your Tiger if you have a chance.

Funnily enough I might be purchasing an Aprilia RSV Mille later today. Just love the noise of the 60 degree V Twin at low revs.

Used to have a GSX600R but that only sounded good at full chat. Problem with that is you're tempted to open it up when you shouldn't just to hear that scream.

I took An Aprilia Tuono for a test ride recently, totally mental, it nearly ripped my shoulders out of their sockets!

Ideally I'd have bought a Tuono but budget wouldn't stretch to it. Picked up a really nice 51 plate RSV Mille with only 9000 miles on the clock. It's very clean apart from some of the fairing stickers peeling. Came with a carbon end can in addition to the standard exhaust. At £1800 all in it represents mega value for money.

Not had a chance to fully open it up yet but there's a tonne of low down grunt and I know it'll pull the tears out of the corner of my eyes!

Blimey. The Mille is a beast.

I did consider an Aprilia Futura (tourer) once. Same engine I think.

I had a go on my mates Honda VFR 1200 recently. 170bhp on a bike..... blimey it shifts.

Just been looking at the photo's of the under body restoration work you had done by Joe on this car. You've given it a new lease of life and have ensured it will be sound for years to come.
I'm afraid I'm another 'if only I had the cash' Coupe would be owner - my money is being spent on renewing a 40 year old bathroom.
Sigh.....
GLWTS

PS At that price, the car is a bargain.

Why is this not sold yet? At less than three grand now that has to be a steal. Cornwall is not that far to travel for a good coupe!
