Just wanted to clarify. One man one vote, although the results will be declared by region the final remain or leave will be based on the total number of votes cast for each.

Other seems to be saying that its will be a tot up of regions instead, which would not be a referendum IMHO.

It's one man, one vote.

(According to Jeremy Vine yesterday)

They are toting up regions, but only as voted, not as points per region.
Some results will come in quicker than others, gives the results show that xfactor feel.

If the result is a 'leave', it will then become an opinion, rather than an instruction.

Treat the electorate with contempt

Of course, if it is a 'stay' then the electorate will magically be obeyed.

No, its yahoo buggered up again, perhaps try later? thanks Barney (below) for spotting my error frown

Topic was about parliamentary sovereignity and how the referendum has no legal standing.
