Standing at hangar I was shocked and couldn't understand the need for a SC or full wets. Hangar straight was virtually dry with no spray. Then I saw all the standing water on the pit straight etc and realised.

Yes - hanger straight looked dry. There was a huge puddle in the middle of Becketts

Fancy taking this bend at over 100mph?

Last year I went very very light on track at over 100mph in the wet. It got my attention very quick.

Exactly - I drove at Snetterton in a very wet race earlier this year - the car snapped sideways on the straight just changing into a high gear. I only have 185bhp. A mate of mine pretty much totalled his car at Goodwood on the straight in similar conditions.

Yes it changes very quick. On a evening session last year we had a cloud burst and I came straight in.
Laying up in the pit's I watched a 911 going in a straight line up the pit straight split second later he was in the concrete wall and goodbye to over 50,000 euros worth of car. Just for staying out. He was ok.

I thought it was a pretty good race. Surprised to see Rosberg fend off Verstappen even without using 7th gear (losing 2nd or 3rd might have been a different story).

Quite a few drifts too!

On my first visit to Spa one of the sessions was a bit damp. I had a bit of a moment at the exit of Eau Rouge, I was a little wide, hit the white line and saw the barrier and trees rapidly approaching! I totally lost my bottle and slowed right down only to hear Adam screaming, asking me why I was now going so slow. He thought my "New Pants Please" moment was the best bit rolleyes

Gone Audi mad!
