Hi Guys,

I have some pagid pads on my 20vt and on my last car the only way I could get rid of the embarassing squeal was by fitting genuine fiat pads.

Where is the cheapest place to get hold of these (front pads). Unless someone can recommend some other silent non-squeal pads?

Thanks! jonny

Alternative Autos, eg. ebay # 161906046072

Genuine Fiat pads are the best for reducing squeal due to their unique design.

I have a spare set that came from AA a couple of years ago when I had a 20vt.
They came in a Magneti Marelli box but have Pagid stamped on the pads.

offten the squeal is caused by badly fitted pads.

You need to clean the disk and callipers before fitting disk and a little copper slip won't go a mis.

And pagid are fine for normal driving

OMP Road and Sport also don't squeal, but that may be down to preparing the calipers beforehand.

Available on eBay for about £60 for a front set.
