I have been using push fit plastic JG plumbing stuff for a few years now and what great stuff it is.

Just discovered WAGO electric connectors and boxes. Great stuff and far more reliable and easier to use than chock block or screw fit connectors. They are quite expensive because you have to buy them in bulk, but IMHO well worth the initial purchase. Also easy for an electrician to inspect work before power on.

I do draw the line at plastic ceilings though!

Screwfix sell an alternative to wago which are same principle but clear. 80 piece for about £17.
You are right they are great and handy as can be inspected.

Anything push fit really should be accessible. I have see these fail previously. So if anyone buys any my preference is not, but if so buy ones that twist and lock.

I always work on the principle that where there is a join there is a potential issue. So make sure you can get to it later. The long plastic pipe lengths and the flexibility doe mean you can cut down on fittings dramatically.
