Can anybody suggest Recaro front seats for a Coupe Turbo year 2000 model? Were Recaro's ever a factory option on the Coupe?

I am thinking something along these lines?

On the 6 speed they were an option from factory but had all black stitching. If you contact Country cruising(FCSS, motormech or Midland car servicing they might be able to get hold of them.(trusted sellers)

There was a black plus model being sold for £1000 ish that came with them as standard but with red stitching which is incorrect for your model although you could get them recovered. I believe some of the later plus and 6 speed had heated seats which had slightly different mounting points so check out what your car is first or come to an arrangement with seller before you pay your cash.

Either way i would try and fit the factory options rather than something that is not due to your car being a fine straight example.

PS.keep your original seats in case you ever sell. the 6 speed normal leather seats are slightly fatter then the 5 speed models.

le (red and black leather) , plus (black leather with red stiching)and some late 6 speed coupes (all black leather) have Recaro seats fitted from the factory .

Thanks for the info. I don't think id bother upgrading the seats unless I got good Fiat coupe originals. Aftermarket seats just never feel right.

Anyone know of any for sale or even any pics of them to refresh my memory? Can't even find pics of them on the internet.

Red stitching is CORRECT for plus seats, steering wheel, handbrake, gear gator and door cards.
The plain black seats were fiat copy seats and not reccaro.

6 speed with black stitching are not copys there gen reccaro its the airbag seats which are fiat copy and mount differently
