Anyone know this car (n904 nad)...ink black 16vt. Good condition coupe that looks like it's been loved in its life. Thinking of buying as my poor 20vt unfortunately is to far gone!!

16vt v 20vt....pros/cons? I've read 16vt is a bit more 'on off' than the smooth 20vt. Are the rumours about the 16vt being more thirsty true in real life?

Ta 👍

Don't know the car but I'd say the 16vt is definitely a bit more old school than the 20vt in terms of power delivery
but I actually prefer a bit of lag. It gives it more of a bang when it comes in laugh

I would say my inky 16vt is marginally worse on fuel than my old 20vt but not massively so and I think they are cheaper
for the belts and clutch too.

Was on the verge of getting the 20vt all spruced up with Joe at Fcss, but after a good scrape underneath most of it fell off!!!!

Looking for a replacement now (see post in wanted).

Depending on how quick I can find something I might drive the old girl a bit longer (as unbeliviably just got full mot on her!! and engine and other stuff isn't in bad condition.

Joe has got first dibs if it goes for parts but may try it on here later as someone with welding skills might want to rescue her!!

Moral of the story: watch out for those boot rust patches....they spread!!! cry

inky goodness!!
