got home yesterday and couldnt select reverse gear.

If its anything like a coupe gearbox then there will be a cable or rod lifter for when you put it in reverse. Suggest you lift up the gaitor and see if things are still connected.

Failing that remove the battery and have a look whats going on top of the gearbox selector, something could be loose.

garage have looked, all cables are fine, its the selector on top of the box thats shot!

can it be removed without taking the box out?

is there an FCSS for fiat bravos??

If it's just the gearbox selector it shouldn't be too painful, fingers crossed.
