I suppose it depends on what you use the coupe for mainly.
How about trying just the back first.

There has been a fair amount of previous discussions about this.
Maybe try a search on here.

I know, I read all of it just need a bit of convincing.

To me it is simple - just the rear to dial in some oversteer and better balance the car. However, I have not done it before so I don't know how it will behave with a stiffer ARB at the back nor do I know how it will behave with both of them fitted.

It is my daily but I will be also using it for track days (maybe 5 per year max).

Fitting just the rear to start with is not a bad idea but I'd rather do it once and do it right.

As this is a new build with many new parts it can take time to dial it all in so you're happy with how it performs, if you fit the front and rear together it makes a massive difference with the way the vehicle handles not forgetting how uncomfortable the ride quality can become to a point you'll hate driving it, especially as a daily if your route is peppered with bad surfaces so I'd fit the rear, set it up all around so you're happy and then decide if you want/need a stiffer front end.

If the rear is the 22m one then just fit that. I'd only put the front one on if you had a 24mm on the back to maintain the same over/under steer balance.

When I had the Whiteline 22mm rear ARB fitted, I didn't notice any drawbacks regarding the ride quality. It just got a little more pointy and didn't wash out on roundabouts.

Good point Joe. The roads around here a bit poor and to be honest I don't want the front end to be any stiffer as it is on a verge of being annoying already.

I have the whiteline 22 mm rear. Along with Osrav sports suspension set up. Front arb is standard. It's a track car and its harsh.

without going into all the technical reasons, I would strongly suggest fitting the rear only to start with

Hopefully, with a 23mm rear ARB, you'll get a much sharper turn-in, but without oversteer.

If you start to get oversteer, you can then fit the front ARB

My own experience with a 23mm rear ARB is that its close to perfect for road use, although you'll get the occasional "moment" if you lift off at hight speed while cornering - this can usually be dialled out with camber and toe settings

If I remember correctly, I should set the camber at -1.2 degrees but don't I don't remember how much toe-in. What settings would you recommend? Please remember that the car is my daily.

Correct, Eibach rear is 22mm, Novitec 23mm, Whiteline either 22mm or 24mm.

-1.2 degrees camber is a bit much for general road use and it may mean the car becomes more "pointy" than you want.

The toe settings (from memory) are 1mm toe-in, +/- 1mm (so effectively anywhere from parallel to 2mm toe-in)

A lot depends on how you want the car to behave - if you want a sharp turn-in and good cornering performance, stay with your current camber and go for toe closer to parallel - perhaps 0.5mm toe-in

If you like high-speed stability, I'd back the camber off to -0.75 to -1.0 and set the toe somewhere in the region of 1mm to 1.5mm toe in

If you're blatting down the autobahn at 150+ every day, I'd go for standard camber and 2mm toe-in

I picked the car from my mechanic today after he had fitted the rear ARB. I must say the difference is so so apparent. The car is very pointy and I am no longer afraid of understeer. Actually, what is understeer? tongue This must be the best single mod ever! I love it! laugh

I wrote something pretty similar when I had mine fitted - it really is a complete transformation - I recall writing that the car felt more like a RWD

Just wait until you fit a Quaife and you can hit full throttle halfway round a wet corner

I have 23mm rear ARB (plus Joe's prings and Konis) = massive improvement in stability and nice & direct with the nose.
