If anyone's thinking of buying one, because it's cheap, don't do it.

I had one fitted by my local garage for the mot. I supplied it, they didn't say anything about it, so I thought it would be fine.

Joe had my car at FCSS today for suspension work, first thing he did was laugh at it, then removed it and replaced with something decent.

It doesn't fit properly and was quite dangerous in the way it hung on the rear rubber. It comes as 2 pieces from the cat back, the front part isn't the right shape so it rattles about a bit too.

It's either for a Bravo or Brava with a fabricated centre pipe to get it to 'sort of fit', not a good exhaust for the Coupe so I hope the trader helps with a refund or at least a partial payment to put towards something else as the one I fitted is n/a so it only to get you out of trouble for the mean time.

Coolio. What's the difference between a turbo and an N/A exhaust? If I go down the route of getting a longlife one, I don't want them to copy the n/a system that's on there at the moment.

The difference is the diameter, n/a is the size that's fitted, turbo slightly bigger which again proves what they supplied is wrong as I think it's slightly smaller then n/a.

No joy with claiming anything back. Over 30 days since delivery and no money back guarantee through eBay for some reason.

Not found a replacement either.

Tempted to just get the toyosport one off eBay.

Pisser on the exhaust, it's not for a coupé so it's a shame you you're not able to claim a refund because of that reason.

As for the Toyo, personally my advice would be don't do it, go the longlife route

Hi guys Not meaning to bustle but is the V.I.S and Turbo exhaust the same size and are they compatible ?

The turbo system is a bigger diameter but it does fit the N/A the same, cats are the same on both models, turbo exhaust on an N/A can sound quite loud so one to be aware of.

Yeah it sucks, and deep down I know you're right about the toyo. Buy cheap buy twice and all that. You would hope I've learned my lesson, yet I'm looking at the cheapest stainless option going. More fool me.

I'm going to a couple of longlife type places tomorrow, but I've spoken with a couple of people who have had an exhaust made up by them, the price might be problematic.

Will update once the quotes are in.

I do rate Longlife system, they're made bespoke to the car and what you'll have once fitted is a system with a lifetime guarantee so as I'm in no rush for the return of the one fitted save your pennies and buy the right one once

I can source standard 20 V turbo exhaust, but having no luck sourcing standard 20v V.I.S exhaust.i really just want a standard exhaust V.I.S exhaust

Yes VIS, normally aspirated including the early alloy topped 20v model.

The seller has offered a partial refund, so at least I'll get something back to put towards a proper one.

Will save the Christmas pennies and get a stainless one made up in the new year.
