Well they are an American site, where strangely enough the coupe was never sold. Can only hope that they never bring out their promised British edition. I shan't lose any sleep over an ignorant summary, I am quite happy with my unreliable 2 *liter* car after almost 14 years of it always completing a journey.

I met some yank kids once that asked me if London was near England. I rest my case.

It's an odd thing, but looking at previous entries in their worst car list http://www.motor1.com/news/?tag=worst%20sports%20cars it's the only one that wasn't sold in the states.

Coupe is a great car, gives awesome feeling, but it's not an trackday winner.... With so much weight in front of front axle, there is not much you can change for better cornering speed.....

There was a discussion on R4 yesterday with a US trade negotiator chappie who asked why so few cars over here were American... the presenter was very polite but did point out that jumbo-sized SUVs and trucks were not the best fit to UK roads. I must say that I do quite like my son's 17 feet long 7 litre V8 powered 65 Ford Thunderbird, but I can't see it fitting into the local multistory carpark, so it's probably not a daily driver. It isn't a sports car either, although the original 55 car was pretty close.

If a person was to really not care about the opinions of others, wouldn't they value compliments and criticisms equally? ''Ugh, your car is rubbish.'' ''I don't care what you think about my car.'' ''Wow, your car is brilliant.'' ''I don't care what you think about my car.''

That's just summed up my attitude to cars. I buy them for me, not for others, or by what others think of them (or me for having them!).

Love the Coupe. Love Alfas - own a 155 and 159 SW - The 155 was also slated as not being a real Alfa but 'just a re-badged Fiat' but is a great car
I also like french cars and everyone hates them but do i give a shit?
