Hi
Last weekend I brought my coupe out of hibernation and the other night discovered the headlights on dipped beam on a main country road are next to useless!
I tried refurbishing them some 2 years or so ago, and wonder if it is worth giving it another go?
I've purchased some lacquer spray which might preserve the restoration a little longer?
Otherwise I'll have to put out an appeal for any good ones for sale? smile

Aye the headlights on the Coop are a well known flaw. Highly recommended is the group buy LED bulbs.

I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

Ooh. LED headlights. Sounds good. How does one find out about the group buy?

If they have yellowed it's worth a refurb, that makes a big difference to the strength of the beam. Combined with the LEDs you'd not have any problems in the future.

I recently gave my yellowed ones a clean with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. This was done insitu and I am happy with the result.

Somebody once said toothpaste and a toothbrush works well on the lenses.

Yes Annie, that also works.

The skipper of the yacht I sail on uses this on the Compass.
