Hi there, Alan here

Newbie from ayrshire Scotland

First time Coupe owner
And 1 month in, I'm loving it

It's a 1998 20v non turbo
112,000 miles
In the discrete broom yellow
(Reg T311KAH. If anybody knows it)

Was only £750 so not perfect
But very presentable

Need to sort the normal gunky dash console
And need new or second hand bonnet struts as
Having it resting on my head isn't much fun

Hi Alan and welcome to the forum smile

Plenty on here to interest you - Parts Wanted, Parts for Sale, Uk Social Events (North of Scotland Tour 2017) for example!

A broom handle for your bonnet while you're waiting for struts is a start laugh

Hi thanks for the welcomes

I'm liking the broom handle idea

Have looked at the Scotland tour
I work night shifts Thursday to Sunday
So not ideal for me
But I sure I will meet up in future

What are the thoughts on the top centre console
Go black or same colour of car
Mines yellow so I was thinking it might be too much yellow going on if
I went that way

Alan

From the layout at first I thought I'd be reading Burns laugh

Yes the broom handle just fits diagonally in the boot smile

Black imo, the yellow is just toooo much.

So if you work nights the Thirlestane show on Sunday 4th June probably won't work for you either frown

Actually off the 4th of June but flying to costa del sol at 630am next day
So depending on what the show is might not be doable

No not burns I type as I talk sometimes too fast to make much sense but usually people get the general idea hehe

Would be good to see a few local coupes to get inspired on what I can do with mine
