If the car was mapped when the input configuration was "filter,MAF,SIP,turbo" would it need a remap if returned to the standard airbox and input configuration ?

My thinking is "no" because the MAF is still measuring the input airflow. But it might be a reduced airflow at a given speed and therefoe affect things.

Can someone tell me what might occur ?

All things equal no, however there can be variations (distortion) in mass airflow readings according to location/proximity to other factors.
