Hey Joe

I used some of this.

It fits through the panel holes ok and works fine, the only thing I have found though is that the wiper clips that hold it to the wiper stalk don't fit (it's a little too fat) so I've had to keep them in place with black tie wraps.

If you find anything that does fit exactly let me know smile

There was a thread on the forum about Mercedes hose being the same spec. Loads of that on flea bay at about £5/metre or less.

Here's the THREAD which contains the merc partno.

However appologies because the "Loads I found on ebay" is clear , which is not what Joe wanted.

The black stuff is £6.69/metre HERE

Hopefully thats the right stuff.

Ok I've ordered 4m so we'll see what it's like for size when it arrives, as long as it routes the same and fits the arm clips I'll be happy, hate things not being correct as it wouldn't look OE.

Cheers for everyone’s input thumb

Looking forward to hearing what you think Joe as my 20vna has some white pipes and my 20vt needs some work on the pipes as the drivers side doesn't work anymore. Despite clearing the jets.

All done and fitted, diameter is good, slightly smaller ID then OE so tight to fit to the none return valves under the scuttle, routes well and fits in all the clips, the only small negative I have is it has a green line running along it's length, beggars can't be choosers.

I am sorry for my tongue in cheek comment about the cost - it is still a great buy if you have a split pipe.
In my case I actually think its just blocked so will play with that a bit anyways - thanks Edinburgh

It quite often splits where it exits the scuttle panel. Cut that part out and use a biro inner (empty laugh ) to splint it

fitted mine on Friday night, but I didn't try it until driving back from the Border's Historic Motoring extravaganza on Sunday afternoon

It's amazing!

SO MUCH water! Probably a lot easier on the pump too..

wish I'd done this years ago..

I've got to re-aim the nozzles now, as they are running at a different pressure...
