Cheers Pete I think they'll probably get a fair bit of negative feedback from some of the other groups too, so hopefully future events may be organised differently.

Ive been to this event for around 8 years in a row now and always love it. This year by around midday-ish I thought to myself something is missing this year. It was poorly organised (as many of you have mentioned) maybe to be fair to them the building work is a bit of a disruption to them. But still, even the MB track part was flat and boring as I noticed alot of changes for that part of the day compared to usual and there were not as many 'special' cars taking part or even in the grounds, i.e last year there was a La Ferrari, a few F40's an F50 and a Bugatti Veyron just to name a few.....plus the whole helmet thing for the track is a bit OTT, they usually group more cars up to go on the track and queue them up closer to the crowd where you can have a good look/listen.
I think they have killed it a bit, even the company I was with found it a bit boring or flat..
My wife came at 2pm and still had to pay £16 too! I think that takes the mick! Even if they called it a tenner would of been more acceptable.

The entire site at Brooklands is wish washy and generally looks like a dilapidated, unkept and unloved area. It's always looked rubbish! And I find it weird that even the concorde and other planes 'look like' they were simply parked and are awaiting to be moved to their proper positions! The only thing that makes it is the Italian machinery dotted around the place. That's my thoughts anyway

... Also the fella with the camera, 'Fast & Loaded' I think it was. Again, annoyingly can't remember the fellas real name....sorry bud! That was me with the camera. Nice to meet you and the others as well. I'd been to Brooklands before for other car meets and as has been said the concrete has not aged any better!. That poor guy in the Alfa 159 and his splitter scraping the concrete. Eeek! I enjoyed the day, but understand the haphazard nature of the parking. It was actually quite nice to photograph many cars in a more compact area. Luckily I came by train as the Coop is unwell (broke a spring) and will get Joe's loving attention very soon. Anyway, nice photoshoot we had with Clintos's gorgeous LE and James's and Nismo's modded Coupes and DaveG's lovely Pearl white plus. Here's my photo's of the day's Coupes. https://flic.kr/s/aHskUcJT7k

Sorry Bud,...I thought that's what you said your username was. I was looking through the 'F's' in the user's list for you, and I still managed to get it wrong. Excellent pics though mate!

Sadly my VIS wasn't MOT'd and and couldn't go to the Brooklands show. As a result I walked the three miles to Brooklands which seems to have taken the same time as it did for drivers queing to enter the site..... The layout was confusing but I did manage to track down the Coupe and GTV groups. It was great to talk to both Peter and Joe who know more about Coupes than I will ever know. The coupes were beautifully turned out and congratulations to all owners. I hope my VIS will look as good when finished.
